MSAAW Foundation is an organization with a team of passionate and committed individuals aiming to constructively address the gender-based issues relevant to this day and age. Their mission is to work towards an equal, inclusive, and violence-free society.
Project Description
MSAAW Foundation has launched a pro-bono clinic wherein victims and survivors of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence can seek mental health support and legal counsel. As part of their Legal wing, MSAAW are looking to onboard:
- 1 probono clinic coordinator
- 4 clinic interns
Number of Vacancies
1 Coordinator: 6 months
4 (Four): For a period of 3 months.
Job Description
Coordinator:
- 4th/5th year Law student (5-year program) or 2nd/3rd year (3-year program) who has an interest in organizing and managing an online legal clinic.
- Has experience (internships/work) in litigation of issues related to SGBV.
- Has been part of legal aid and is interested in litigating and community outreach.
- Is comfortable and has a demonstrated interest in project management.
- Is available for 12-15 hours a week.
Interns
- 4th/5th year Law student (5-year program) or 2nd/3rd year (3-year program) who has an interest in litigation and learning the practical aspect of litigation.
- Has strong communication skills.
- Has experience in legal aid/litigation through internships.
- Is available for 8-10 hours a week.
Stipend
This is currently unpaid but this might change subject to availability of funding.
